godspeed is back. i missed them in austin in 2003 because i was afraid it would be boring and i didn't want to go by myself. i won't make that mistake twice.

reading this reminded me that, after playing fort worth on that tour in 2003, these dudes were detained at a gas station in oklahoma because some old timer thought they were terrorists. i guess seeing 9 dudes dressed in all black pulling into a gas station in a box truck made him nervous. read about them being "surrounded by police cars and FBI agents" here. lolz.

ps. their wiki page says one of their lp's [limited to 500 copies] included a "train-flattened penny."
