tom breihan's take:
"I'm Back" destroys because it feels like T.I.'s been staring at the MTV Jams channel in his halfway house, just seething to himself, plotting the moment when he'd finally get to air out his absolute derision. The track only barely has a chorus; he's sneering hard throughout, almost without interruption. The Trackslayerz beat is the kind of elemental Southern banger T.I.'s annihilated a million times before, and it's just enormously gratifying to hear him annihilate another one after his absence. I missed that guttural screwface drawl. So yeah, he's back.
